I'm Rick Fields — a multimedia designer with over a decade of experience creating thoughtful, impactful visual content through graphic design, photography, and video production. My work is driven by a passion for blending creativity with clarity, helping brands communicate their stories and connect meaningfully with their audiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across industries including manufacturing, higher education, and musical instruments, serving organizations like KMC Controls, DwyerOmega, Jayco, Conn-Selmer, and Indiana University South Bend. My roles have spanned graphic design, video production, photography, and digital content management, producing marketing materials, managing websites, and creating visual assets for product launches, promotions, and instructional use.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated New Media from Indiana University South Bend, where I honed my skills in digital design, photography, and multimedia storytelling. Currently, I’m advancing my expertise by pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Marketing at the University of Notre Dame. This program is helping me expand my knowledge of marketing strategy, analytics, and emerging technologies, allowing me to integrate creative execution with data-driven insight.
Beyond my professional work, I have a deep appreciation for the arts and the creative process. My background in visual media is rooted in a lifelong interest in the intersection of creativity and technology — from photography and design to film and digital storytelling. I’m continually inspired by the ways in which art, music, and culture shape how we communicate and connect. This perspective informs my work and drives my passion for crafting visual content that is not only aesthetically engaging but also purposeful and impactful.
Above all, I believe great creative work is about more than aesthetics; it’s about clarity, connection, and purpose. My goal is to continue helping brands and organizations tell their stories in ways that are authentic, engaging, and built to last.
