Tim O’Toole, known affectionately as Box, was a dear friend and an unforgettable presence in my life. He was the biggest Deadhead I knew, a proud IU Hoosier, and above all, a devoted father and husband. In 2008, at just 48 years old, he was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. This short film is dedicated to Tim and his family — a tribute to his spirit, his love for music, and the impact he had on everyone who knew him.
To honor his memory and support the fight against Alzheimer’s, please consider making a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. Rest easy, Box.
