In 2019, I had the unique opportunity to interview Dave Matthews about his longtime bandmate, Rashawn Ross. The goal of the project was to capture Dave’s insights and reflections on Rashawn’s musicianship, his contributions to the band, and the dynamic they’ve built together over years of touring and recording. I was responsible for every stage of the production process — from pre-production planning and developing interview questions to filming on location and editing the final video. The final piece was crafted to feel conversational and authentic, highlighting the respect and camaraderie shared between the artists. This project allowed me to combine my skills in video production, storytelling, and editing with my passion for music and the people who create it.
